Facilities

Anybody’s Barn offers simple self-catering accommodation for groups

  • There are five small bedrooms with three, four or five single bunk beds each. Some of the bunks are positioned under a sloping roof and regular guests tend to limit the rooms to two people at a time for comfort. At its absolute maximum, the Barn can sleep 20.
  • The accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen-dining room which opens on to garden decking.
  • Next to the kitchen is a long, unfurnished, carpeted room (3.8m x 5m) often used for small yoga groups, meditation, or meetings.
  • There are three small shower rooms with toilets and basins.
  • The Barn has gas central heating and wifi.
  • There is a studio (4.6 x 6.5m) with concrete floor and a sink, suitable for group art activities and other types of workshop. Enquire whether this studio is available as part of the hire.
  • The Barn has a small grass area with firepit next to the building and guests are welcome to enjoy the woodland beyond.
  • Parking space for the Barn is limited to four vehicles (six if double parked). We encourage car-sharing and using Malvern Link train station four miles away.

Accessibility:

  • All access points to the Barn include an uneven gravel pathway and a few wooden or stone steps into the building. Three of the bunk rooms are on the first floor. There are four steps up to the workshop studio.

Animals:

  • Birchwood Community and guests share the land with many species of wild birds and animals. We also have a number of cats. We do not encourage dogs and other pets to stay at the Barn but please contact us about any particular requests.
